Brindley Pieters & Associates, an Equal Opportunity Employer is in need of Valve and Hydrant Operators for our Atlanta office.
The successful candidates will be part of a two person crew and report to a Field Technician.
Operators will be responsible for data collection, directing traffic safely at work zones, and safe, accurate and professional operation and maintenance of hydrants and valves.
Training will be provided.
The operator will follow written procedures for traffic control, operating, maintaining, collecting data and repairing valves and fire hydrants. Successful candidates will begin as contract employees with mobility to full benefit status upon completion of training. Salary range is $12 to $15 per hour.
Training starts in mid August.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma, minimum 2 years clean driving record, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, ability to read maps, follow verbal/written instructions. Water main or utility experience a plus.
